7 years ago, I became a mother to a beautiful little baby boy. Since becoming a mother that day, I have had an exponential increase in my appreciation for my own mother, my grandmother, and other mothers I know. I guess I never truly appreciate the love my mother has for me, and the things she did for me and my siblings, the sacrifices she made. “妈妈，你好烦啊。” I used to say to my mother, Oops! And now I am becoming the same type of mother!!

I have created these free Chinese Mother’s Day printables for my children to colour in and make for their grandmothers, and me (hee hee…). They are available in both Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. 

And if you have don’t have time to make the cards. Don’t panic, I have also included two colour print-and-go versions too.

As we celebrate Mother’s Day this May, I would also like to dedicate this post as a way of saying thank you to my mother, my grandmother, my mother in law, and all the mothers around the world.
